Wolverhampton Wanderers player Billy Wright was the first
footballer in the world to earn 100 caps, making a total of 105 appearances
for the England football team. Wright married Joy Beverly of the Beverly
Sisters in 1958. Theirs is considered to have been one of the most successful
celebrity marriages of all time.
