Enola Gay Crew Signed Photograph

On August 6 1945 the Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber Enola Gay
dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The Enola Gay
was the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb as a weapon of war.
This
item is a 10" x 8" reproduction of a black and white vintage photograph
of Enola Gay pilot Paul Tibbets, navigator Theodore "Dutch" Van Kirk
and the late bombardier Tom Ferebee stood next to the famous airplane.
The
reproduction photograph has been signed by all three crew members in
blue ink above their respective images. They have also written their
positions during the flight, the name of the plane and the date the bomb
was dropped.
