Possibly the most famous magician in history, Harry Houdini (1874-1926) is best known for his sensational escaping acts.

Some of Houdini's most famous acts include; escaping from a straight jacket whilst suspended from a building or crane by his ankles, and escaping from a casket having been buried alive.

This 2½" x 1½" black and white photograph shows the profile of the escapologist's head and shoulders. It features Houdini's autograph, which reads "Best Wishes, Harry Houdini, 4/1/11", clearly across a darker part of the photograph.

This fantastic photograph, which is in fine condition, features the caption "Harry Handcuff Houdini" at the bottom of the image.
