Jack Ruby Autographed Cheque

Just two days after Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, he was murdered by Jack Ruby (1911-1967). As with the killing of JFK, much controversy surrounds the case, with conspiracy theorists citing Ruby's alleged involvement with organised crime and gangsters.

This cheque, bearing Ruby's  signature, is written out in the amount of $24.62. Dated 24 September 1950, at Dallas, Texas, the page measures 3" x 8¼". The autograph and other handwritten details are marked in fine ink, in crisp neat handwriting by Ruby. The item has been stamped and date-punched as part of official bank procedure. In excellent condition.
