Jimi Hendrix Experience Autographs
SOLD
Guitarist and singer-songwriter Jimi Hendrix is widely regarded to be
the greatest and most influential electric guitar player in the history
of popular music.
Hendrix was discovered by The Animals bassist, Chas Chandler who
became Jimi's manager. Shortly after, Hendrix formed The Experience with
Noel Redding (bass) and Mitch Mitchell (drums). After his initial
success in Europe, Hendrix's performance at the Monterey Pop Festival in
1967 achieved him fame in the US.
This 4.8" x 3" piece of paper features Hendrix's autograph in blue
biro ink. It is also signed by Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell circa
1967. The autographs are framed with a wonderful photograph of Jimi
playing the guitar.
In excellent condition, the reverse of this autographed slip also
features the signatures of Martin Peters and George Cohen who played for
the 1966 England football team.
