Neil Armstrong (1930- ) became the first man to walk on the
moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. He has received a
Congressional Space Medal of Honour for his services.
Armstrong has refused to sign autographs since 1994 and as such this is a rare and highly sought after item.
This piece is a complete special issue of Life magazine from 4 July
1969. Entitled "Off to the Moon", this issue features Armstrong's
signature on the front cover in blue felt tip ink.
This wonderful item features some light creasing and minor damp
staining to the cover and inside pages, and an address label is affixed
to the front cover. Otherwise this rare piece is in fine condition.
A very rare signature reflected in the 900% increase in value over the last 10 years according to the PFC40 Autograph Index.
