The Old Town Hall, a painting by Adolf Hitler, is to cross the block at the Weidler Auction House in Nuremberg, Germany with a minimum bid of $3,130 on November 20-22.
It dates to between 1914 and 1915 and depicts a scene in Munich.

Prior to his ascension through the ranks of the Nazi party, Hitler had attempted to enter the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, but was rejected. During this time, he lived on the streets.
There is a strong market for paintings by the dictator - primarily due to his infamy. In 2012, a seascape sold for $53,000 in a Slovakian auction.
More recently, a watercolour made close to $8,000 at Mullocks.
