Lewis Carroll handwritten letters

A pair of handwritten letters by Lewis Carroll, the celebrated author of Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Dating from 1877, these two letters contain Carroll's noted wordplay and sense of surreal humour.

Written in the customary violet ink he used for all correspondence, and signed under his real name "Lewis Dodgson".
