A 1953 letter by Albert Einstein outlining his scepticism about the existence of God is to cross the block at PBA Galleries.
The lot is valued at $60,000-90,000 ahead of the February 14 sale.

It's addressed to David H Albaugh, a student in Burlington, Iowa, who wrote asking whether Einstein had resolved "the question of the existence of God in the perceivable universe".
Einstein (1879-1955) offers a reasoned and considered answer to the question.
He writes: "...The question should rather be: How far is it reasonable and justifiable to assume the existence of an unperceivable being?
"I see no justification for the introduction of such a concept. In any case, it does not facilitate the understanding of the orderliness we find in the perceivable world..."
The letter is one of few such examples that indicate Einstein's views on the subject.
He was often called upon in interviews to answer the God question, but never gave a conclusive answer.
Written two years before his death, it offers a fascinating insight into his reasoning and is a prime example of his fabled generosity to students.
The letter last sold at Bonhams in 2013, where it realised $62,500.
