The oldest of the renowned French marques, Panhard & Levassor is famed for its luxury vehicles.

This 1913 Panhard & Levassor X19 roadster has a €35,000 estimate

This specimen features a 10hp 2150cc four cylinder side valve engine and retains its original body, controls and wooden steering wheel.

It was previously owned by famed collector René Giordano.

"This Panhard will delight enthusiasts of pre-1914 cars, both in the aesthetic sense as well as its technicality. The engine's powerful enough to easily cruise in the streets or to participate in rallies," says the auction house.

It will be joined by a 1924 Panhard & Levassor X47 limousine Weymann at the July 26 auction in Monaco. It too has an estimate of €25,000-€35,000.

The prince has put 38 vehicles up for auction as part of a major reorganisation of his collection. Many of his most stunning pieces can be seen at the prince's car museum in the principality.

A 1925 Citroën 5 HP torpédo "Trèfle" Super-culasse will also star, with a €12,000-15,000 valuation.

For militaria collectors there will be three second world war Dodge army vehicles, including a 4x4 command car, which is expected to achieve €20,000-30,000.

We will bring you full results from the auction next month. In the meantime, why not sign up to our free weekly collectibles newsletter.
