A violin belonging to Charlie Chaplin is coming to auction at Christie's.
The star was given the lot as a gift in 1917, but is believed to have borrowed it in 1916 for use in his classic movie The Vagabond.

It originates from 19th century Germany and was originally right handed, but was adapted to be played left handed by an LA-based luthier in 1914.
A label on the interior reads: "To My Dear Friend Charlie Chaplin / (Who by much suffering attained to great wisdom and feeling) from your admirer Cecil. E. Reynolds. Los Angeles. 7 Fby. 1917".
It's expected to make around ?�70,000-100,000 ($91,280-130,400) in the annual Out of the Ordinary sale on September 14.
Chaplin memorabilia is in high demand, with a hat and cane he used in The Tramp (1915) selling for $62,500 in 2012.
The auction will feature an eclectic range of items, including former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher's 2006 Jaguar Saloon.
The armour plated car is the last official vehicle issued to her by the Government Car Service before her death in 2013.
It was also used by David Cameron to travel to his first meeting with the Queen after the 2010 General Election.
