Aniston's $21m Beverly Hills mansion is expected to play host to their impending wedding, which accounts for the sudden spending

The couple are thought to have spent an estimated $3m in just two weeks, in an antique buying binge to fill their $21m Beverly Hills mansion.

"One of the most expensive items was an 18th-century mahogany rocking chair, which cost in the region of $1 million," a source told Grazia magazine.

"It was apparently used by Founding Father Benjamin Franklin."

Benjamin Franklin is often credited with inventing the rocking chair, though its origin can be traced back to around 1725 in England.

Justin Theroux is said to have bought an English longcase Tompion clock circa 1660, which is thought to have been used by British royalty.
