King Tutankhamun's seal mould to see $20,000 with Antiquities Saleroom?

A terracotta seal used to make the royal seals of King Tutankhamun is being sold as part of Antiquities Saleroom's June 13 auction in Colorado.

Any artefact relating to Tutankhamun is likely to sell well at auction

The mould dates to the 18th dynasty of Egypt's New Kingdom, between 1332 and 1323 BC. It is valued at $20,000-30,000.

The seal would have played an important role in King Tutankhamun's reign, being used to give his approval to various documents and artefacts. Hieroglyphs found on the mould state the king's name, while reading, "Ra is the Lord of Creation".

As the auction house states, the high profile discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb by Howard Carter in 1922 has caused any item relating to the young king to be highly sought after by antiquities collectors.

In June 2012, an amazing archive of Howard Carter's Tutankhamun papers and memorabilia sold at Bonhams for $169,573.
