Little Nemo auction house has devoted its latest sale to original comic art and illustrations, headlined by Gabriele Dell'otto's variant cover art for The Avengers #25.

The sale takes place on April 13, with bids accepted online by the Italian auction house. Dell'otto's original work is valued at $11,000-20,500.
The cover was published in April 2012, the same month that the incredibly successful film was released in cinemas. This strong connection with the movie will undoubtedly boost its appeal, and value, at auction.
Despite Marvel's Avengers being the flavour of the month, it is another classic that holds the title of top lot: an original strip from Charles Schulz's Peanuts will sell with an $23,000-38,500 estimate.
