A magnificent collection of bronzes from British sculptor Elizabeth Frink will sell in Bonhams' upcoming 20th Century British and Irish Art auction.

Dame Elizabeth Frink was considered one of the most important British sculptors of the 20th century. Her work, which focuses on male and animal forms, is said to draw influence from her experiences during the second world war.
It features rough surfaces and contorted forms that, according to Bonhams, "reflected the destruction, terror and brutalisation of nearly six years of conflict."
A total of seven important works from Frink will highlight the sale on November 14 in London, with her Leonardo's Dog II expected to star. The piece has been signed and numbered "Frink 5/6" and marked with the foundry stamp. Created in 1992, just one year before her death, it will sell with a £250,000-350,000 ($403,000-564,000) estimate.
Midas Head, a piece inspired by Henry Moore's Helmet Heads, will follow, estimated at £40,000-60,0000 ($64,500-96,500). The work was made in 1989, in collaboration with the TV show The Midas Touch, which was produced by Spink's stepson Mark Csaky. It has been signed "Frink 2/10".
Both Dead Rabbit and Boar, which were conceived in 1976 and 1968, respectively, share an estimate of £25,000-35,000 ($40,300-56,400). Harbinger Bird III is expected to bring £20,000-30,000 ($32,200-48,300), while Study for Standard II offers a chance to own Frink's work for just £6,000-8,000 ($9,700-12,900).
The collection is expected to realise in excess of £400,000 ($645,000).
