A superb photo collage from Jean-Michel Basquiat is to highlight the auction of an outstanding specialised collection, which will be held on February 9 in St Louis, Missouri.

The photo collage holds the highest estimate of the sale, valued at $20,000-30,000. It stars in a collection of art that was executed from 1981-1987 by artists active in the East Village, New York.
The collection has been consigned from the estate of Gregg Smith, who befriended many of the artists during this vibrant period and bought their work directly from them.
