The standing mobile was created as a table centrepiece

The piece, a porcelain and painted bronze standing mobile, was created in 1991 and is signed and dated on the base. Numbered 51/125, it sold for £17,500 ($28,183).

Lichtenstein's Woman with Peanuts led Phillips' Contemporary Art auction on November 11, selling for $10.8m.

The sale was led by a complete set of 25 etchings with aquatint by Paul Rego, entitled Nursery Rhymes.
