A large work by Edinburgh artist Robert Gemmell Hutchison (1855-1936) featuring children playing by the seaside could bring up to £30,000 at auction.
It will go under the hammer at the McTear's Fine and Scottish Pictures sale, tomorrow (Tuesday April 13).
During his life Gemmell Hutchison worked in oils and watercolours. Today, he is one of Scotland's most collected artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Although many of his paintings clearly show Dutch influences, he always lived in Edinburgh. In 2006 his work, Village Carnival, sold at auction for £110,000.
"Message In A Bottle, in particular, is the quintessential Gemmell Hutchison scene and it's quite the best I've ever seen by the artist," said Magda Ketterer from McTear's.
