Sotheby's looks set to increase its influence in Asia, as it announces the highlights of the annual Hong Kong Autumn sale series.

Taking place from October 4-8, the auctions will showcase some of the finest Asian art and antiques alongside wine, watches and jewellery.
The event will be preceded by a travelling exhibition of highlights in September, stopping in Jakarta, Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore, among others.
The highest valued lot of any of the sales will comes as part of the Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art sale on October 8. A Xuande fish stemcup, it hails from the esteemed Chunzaizhai Collection and is expected to sell for more than $5.1m.
Magnificent Jewels (October 7) is led by 35.72-carat step-cut Colombian emerald, which holds and estimate of $4m-4.8m, while Important Watches (October 8) features the collector favourite Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon at $220,000-290,000.
The main event will be the Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale on October 5, which is topped by Zao Wou-Ki's 14.12.62 at $1.5m-2.3m.
The previous record holder for the work of Lee Man Fong, Bali Life, is making a reappearance at Sotheby's, having sold for $3.24m in 2010, but then being knocked from the record by the $4.4m Fortune and Longevity in 2012.
With the estimate available only on request, it's likely that Sotheby's is expecting a new record for Lee Man Fong, a Chinese artist that moved to Singapore and spent much of his life exploring Southeast Asia.
The event will kick off with an auction of Finest & Rarest Wines on October 4, which features the stunning James H Clark collection.
Also featuring will be the 20th Century Chinese Art Day Sale on October 6, followed by the Contemporary Asian Art Day Sale. The same day will also see Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, with Fine Chinese Paintings on October 7.
