Christie's first online only auction in conjunction with the Andy Warhol Foundation, which ran from February 26 to March 5, was topped by the Warhol's I Love Your Kiss Forever - a rare 1964 lithograph that sold with a dramatic 1,700% increase on its $5,000 high estimate.
The piece, which features five pouting mouths, brought $90,000 - testament to Warhol's enduring artistic legacy as well as his popularity among serious art investors.
Further highlights include two 1985 silkscreen prints entitled Work Boots (Positive) and Work Boots (Negative), which sold for $65,000 and $60,000, respectively.
The sale also featured a variety of photographs, prints and sculptural objects.
