Ivan Mauger’s 1977 Jawa DOHC Speedway racing bike is offered at Bonhams’ Autumn Stafford Sale in the UK on October 15.
Ivan Mauger is one of the greatest racers of all time
Mauger (now in his late-70s) is a Kiwi racing legend who racked up in excess of 1,000 wins at events across the globe. He rode this bike to victory in the 1977 World Speedway Championship.
The lot is one of a number of pieces from Mauger’s personal collection to feature in the sale.
It’s expected to make around £12,000-18,000 ($15,767-23,629).
Other highlights will include trophies and awards alongside other important motorcycles.
