Footage of Dylan performing in the jacket can be seen in the below cinematic trailer for The Last Waltz - watch closely and he crops up a various times during the clip.

Cameo's auction will take place in Reading, Berkshire, UK.

Elsewhere on the collector's market, a one-of-a-kind Dylan autograph is also for sale, signed on the printed lyrics for On The Road Again, a track from Dylan's 1965 album Bringing it All Back Home.

Dylan is one of the world's most sought after signatures. It is doubly rare to find his autograph on his own sheet music.
