Bruce Lee Kung Fu book expected to realise $86,000

A Bruce Lee Praying Mantis-style Kung Fu book is among the top lots of an upcoming sale at Dreweatts & Bloomsbury.

It's expected to make ?50,000-55,000 ($77,880-85,668) when it crosses the block in London on September 4.

Bruce Lee gave the pamphlet to his friend Taky Kimura

The rare lot displays a number of diagrams and annotations in Lee's own hand, including the instructive: "Right hand block; left go over right and right pulls back immediately and punch out or back fist after swing."

It was given by Lee to his friend and fellow instructor Taky Kimura.

We have a similar annotated, signed pamphlet by Bruce Lee that we are offering at a significantly lower price.

A letter written by Albert Einstein is offered with a valuation of ?32,000-33,000 ($49,827-51,384).

It's written to a woman named Linda Crouse and shows his willingness to engage with his fans: "Dear Miss Crouse, Your questions are not at all silly.

"An object of not vanishing mass can approach but never reach the light velocity; the reason is that its kinetic energy must always be finiteǪ"

Other letters by Einstein have sold for exceptional sums at auction in the past, with one example that explains his feelings on religion selling for $404,000 in 2008.
