Whether you like it or not, there's no denying that Glee has taken the world of television by storm.
The simple story of a group of misfit kids who find solace in the vocal harmonizing of the school's glee club may be a simple one, but somehow its blend of fast paced dialogue and the modern revisions of some of pops biggest hits have struck a chord with audiences.

Its last series saw an estimated 13.7 million viewers tune in, in the US alone whilst the rest of the world is following suit.
The classic songs at the heart of the show have also had a wider impact in the music world. Bands like Journey have enjoyed new found chart success with old hits like "Don't Stop Believing" and the cast recordings have seen a massive thirteen million digital singles sales alongside five million albums sold.
And it's not even in its third series yet.
That's why this week's news that the makers are set to auction a visit to the set of the show, all in the name of charity, caught our eye.
It's a fantastic opportunity, not only for one fan to meet the stars of the show, but more importantly from a collector's point of view, it presents the perfect opportunity to get their hands on some memorabilia before the market really takes off.
After all, you only have to look at the popularity of TV memorabilia down the years to see the potential in a show like Glee.
Just recently, Lost held an auction of memorabilia from the set, which included the sale of a detailed journal belonging to the character of Daniel Faraday. This prop played a prominent role on the programme and sold for an impressive $27,500.
Given that Lost enjoyed viewing figures of that averaged at around 11 million, some two million less than Glee, it's perfectly conceivable to imagine that a similar piece from the set, say Quarterback glee clubber Finn's American football jersey, could fetch just as much, if not more.
And then there are the stars.
Recent celebrity news has been jam packed with stories about some of the stars set to appear on the show.

Who knows, the fan who wins the trip to the set may get the chance to meet someone like Britney Spears. Today a signed photograph from the star is worth as much as £100.
Madonna could also be set to feature and when it comes to pop collectibles, they don't come much bigger than the Queen of Pop.
A pair of jeans belonging to the star and worn on the cover of her "True Blue" album, are currently valued at £18,000 in what is one of the most popular areas of pop music memorabilia.
Or maybe they could get the signature of the show's vocal star Lea Michele. With numerous Broadway credits already to her name, Michele could soon turn to the world of pop in a full time capacity.
And then who knows - she may even give Britney a run for her money.
One thing's for sure though, with the popularity of Glee unlikely to wane any time soon, there's never been a better moment to seek out collectibles from the hit show.
