Mick Jagger's Glastonbury shoes to auction for Small Steps

The trainers Mick Jagger wore for the Rolling Stones' concert at Glastonbury Festival 2013 are among many celebrity shoes that will sell in the annual auction in aid of the Small Steps Project.

Raising money for children living on rubbish dumps across the world, the sale offers hundreds of pairs of shoes from the world's top celebrities, ranging from the spectacular to the shabby. Included is footwear from the likes of George Clooney, Kate Moss and the recently reformed Monty Python actors.

Mick Jagger has autographed his size 10 shoes, which he wore in front of a worldwide audience of 2.3m.

George Clooney has donated a pair of size 11 Timberland boots, which state "STOMP OUT Genocide" and "Save Darfur", reflecting the actor's activism in relation to the ongoing troubles in Chad and Sudan.

Madonna offers a pair of black and gold stiletto heels, which are from her Truth or Dare collection, and which she wore on her most recent MDNA tour.

The sale opens for bids on December 5 and will close on December 15 - just in time for Christmas.
