Your own 1934 FIFA World Cup football programme, for £4,000

As the 2010 World Cup continues into its early stages, collectors on the look-out for a more nostalgic kind of football fix can do so at Mullocks' UK sports memorabilia auction, on June 23.

Among the sale's highlights is an original 1934 FIFA World Cup Tournament Football Programme, estimated at £3,500-4,000.

Published by the Italian Football Federation, the programme comprises 64 pages and numerous fascinating illustrations including venues, teams et al.

According to the condition report, the programme has some stains and speckles on its covers - but nevertheless remains a very scarce and valuable piece of football history.

Other highlights at Mullocks will include an Australian Cricket Green Baggy international cap with embroidered Australian crest, issued to captain Kim Hughes.

Although Hughes faced struggles in his role as captain, he remained a very talented player throughout his test match career (spanning 1977-1984).
