The DL-44 Blaster that Han Solo used in Star Wars is one of the star lots at Profiles in History's December 21 Hollywood Auction.

The Blaster is one of two versions wielded by Harrison Ford's character during The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). It is seen often throughout both films, most notably when Darth Vader uses the Force to take it from Han's hand in The Empire Strikes Back.
A hugely important prop that is instantly recognisable to any Star Wars fan, the gun is estimated at $200,000-300,000.
This is the non-firing version of Han Solo's trademark weapon, with a heavier, live-fire example used for close-ups. Based on the German Mauser C96, it was custom made from resin by casting the original prop used in the first film of the trilogy, which is thought to have been lost.
According to Profiles in History, Luke Skywalker also likely used the gun in The Empire Strikes Back as both characters had the same style of weapon.
Paul Fraser Collectibles has an original prop from Star Wars: A New Hope for sale, as well as a Harrison Ford autograph.

Also featuring in the sale is a Witch Remover prop used by the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, which is valued at $100,000-150,000. Any item from The Wizard of Oz is highly collectible, but with this featuring in the crucial scene where Dorothy and friends enter the Haunted Forest, and in MGM's promotional lobby cards, it is sure to attract strong attention.
The prop last sold for just $11,750 at Christie's in 2000. Profiles in History will also offer one of the original test dresses worn by Judy Garland for the film.

Hollywood's greatest icons are the focus of the sale, with Steve McQueen's racing jacket from the production and promotion of his 1971 film Le Mans expected to sell for $80,000-100,000.
Profiles in History has already sold McQueen's Gulf driving suit from the film for $960,000, while Nate D Sanders auctioned the watch McQueen wears while on camera for $799,500.
