A dress Marilyn Monroe wore in her last film, Something's Got to give, is to auction.
The dress from the unfinished 1962 picture has a $600,000 estimate ahead of the Julien's Auctions sale in Beverly Hills on June 26 and 27.

Monroe was fired from the film and replaced with Lee Remick. Leading man Dean Martin refused to finish the film without her.
Monroe would die just a month later and the film was never finished.
The auction house's Martin Nolan told Paul Fraser Collectibles: "This is a very iconic dress. When Marilyn passed away tragically on Aug 5th that same year, the image of Marilyn wearing this dress was used on the cover of all the major newspapers including the New York Times, The LA Times and the San Francisco Chronicle."
The floral number previously sold for $57,600 on eBay in 2010. Its new owner turned down $500,000 for it in 2012 on US TV show Final Offer.
The sale will also feature a Monroe-worn black velvet bustier, valued at $10,000, an estimate matched by an X-ray from her visit to the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in 1954 for chronic endometriosis.
Monroe memorabilia is continually a strong seller. Her auction record stands at $5.6m, set in 2011 for her "subway scene" dress from The Seven Year Itch.

The sale will also feature Al Pacino's mug shot and arrest record for carrying a concealed weapon in 1961. It's estimated at $6,000. A Marlene Dietrich-owned cigarette lighter has a $3,000 valuation.
