A valuable Hill violin bow discovered in a pile of rubbish sold for £3,600 ($5,454) at UK auction house Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers on March 13.
Estimated to be worth just £80 ($121); the sale price represents a 4,400% increase on the item's top estimate.
The discarded bow was discovered in Cambridgeshire, along with a violin, in a heavily mildewed case, on top of a pile of rubbish.

The reason the bow brought such a substantial increase is down to the reputation of its maker, W E Hill and Son - considered among the finest 19th century bow makers in Britain.
Guy Schooling, managing director at Sworders, told ITV Anglia: "This bow was bought by a music teacher who was delighted with his purchase."
A William "Royal" Forster cello is set to star at Bonhams on May 22.
