Cyril Woods remained friends with the Queen after leaving school

Cyril Woods, who took part in the pantomimes in Windsor, compiled the books in the 1940s.

The images date to between 1940 and 1944, and feature a telegram sent to Woods: "Congratulations Widow Twankey, Two Admirers (Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret)."

The photographs document four different pantomimes: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin and Old Mother Red Riding Boots.

We have a selection of royal memorabilia available to buy.
