Michael Jordan's 1996 final sneakers selling at $6,500 with Grey Flannel

A pair of sneakers Michael Jordan wore in the 1996 NBA finals are being sold by rival Eric Snow, a member of the 1995-1996 Seattle Sonics team that lost in six games to the Chicago Bulls.

The sneakers record the finals of the most successful season ever seen by a team in the NBA

The shoes are selling through Grey Flannel Auctions, with a current bid of $6,633. However, as the auction closes on June 18 they are expected to reach a much higher price, with Jordan's "Flu Game" sneakers selling for $104,795 in December 2013.

Worn in Game 4, the shoes are his signature Nike Air Jordan XIs, with the autograph added later at one of Jordan's summer camps.

They represent a golden era for the Chicago Bulls, when the immortal trio of Jordan, Scotty Pippen and Dennis Rodman led the team to a record 72 wins in the 1995-1996 season, making them the only NBA team in history to surpass the 70 win mark.
