It will surprise many that Tiger Woods has been a golf pro for just 13 years.
He seems to have been at the top of the golfing world for as long as anyone can remember.
In fact he has been the highest earning sportsman for some time surpassing F1's Michael Schumacher back in 2002.
It's earning a $10m bonus for winning the FedEx Cup which has allowed him to ascend the last step into the billionaire's arena, according to Forbes magazine.
Woods is thought to have earned $8m per year - about $100m total - on the golf course.
However most of his money doesn't come directly from playing golf.
He has huge advertising and sponsorship deals: $5m from Tag Heuer watches, video games giant Electronic Arts pay him $8m, Gatorade $10m, Gilette $15m, Accenture consultants $20m and a whopping $30m from Nike.
The golf maestro is an advertiser's dream: young, clean living, and phenomenally successful.
He has also branched out into designing golf courses generating himself $30m in fees so far.
In fact despite taking eight months off through injury after his US Open win in June last year he still earned over $100m in 2008, and is set to earn even more by the end of this year.
