Screaming Eagle 2004 vintage to sell for $5,000 at Christie's
The 2004 vintage from cult winery Screaming Eagle is to feature among top-end offerings
Three bottles of Screaming Eagle's 2004 vintage are to feature in Christie's Fine and Rare Wines sale, which will be held on October 12 in New York.

While the auction will offer all the usual top-end wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and beyond, it will also see a range of the Napa Valley's finest.
A range of "pristine" Screaming Eagle bottles will highlight among the Californian wines, with the cult winery's 2004, 2008 and 2009 vintages all making an appearance.
The 2004, which is made from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, is considered one of its finest years. There were originally 800 cases of the wine produced that year, but aftermore than 200cases were pulled, there are only around 500 remaining, making it highly coveted among enthusiasts.
Three bottles of the 2004 vintage, which can be drunk now or cellared for 15 or more years, according to wine expert Robert Parker, will sell with a $3,000-5,000 estimate.
Following will be the 2009 Screaming Eagle, which wine expert Antonio Galloni described as "insanely beautiful". A three bottle lot will sell for between $3,200 and $5,000. The auction will also offer magnums of both the 2008 and 2009 vintages, which are valued at $3,000-3,800 each.
Also from the Napa Valley is the 1995 vintage from the Harlan Estate, six bottles of which have been given a $2,000-2,800 estimate.
