Bidders could shout 'Geronimo' when this signed Warhol goes to auction

You'll have a chance to buy a rare, signed screenprint by Andy Warhol (1928-1987) in 10 days in Clarke Auction Gallery's upcoming online auction.

The work, entitled Geronimo and depicting the prominent Native American leader, is signed on its lower left and numbered 136/250.

According to the lot notes, the screenprint is formerly from a collection based in Larchmont, US. Its dimensions measure 36" high by 36" wide.

Clarke's description lists the work as being in "good" condition with "strong colours", and "never unwrapped or hung by the local consigner."

The work has not been examined out of its frame.

There will likely be cries of "Geronimo!" when bids on this scarce autographed work open on September 12, starting at $5,000.

It carries an estimate of $10,000-15,000.
