Graham Budd Auctions in London's Sporting Memorabilia sale of May 12 promises a wealth of coveted items from the worlds of football, rugby, motorsports golf and elsewhere.

Among the highlights is an FA Cup final programme for Chelsea v Sheffield United, a match that was played at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground on April 24, 1915.
The historic programme will be a must-see for collectors of football memorabilia, and carries an estimate of £8,000-10,000.
The sale also marks the reappearance of John Wisden's Cricketers' Almanacks (pictured top right), often referred to simply as "Wisden" or colloquially as "the Bible of Cricket".

Considered the world's most famous sports reference book, this exceptionally large compilation of its volumes from 1864-2009 (numbering 148 in total) is valued at £10,000-15,000.
Naturally, the volumes' packaging differs depending on the era.
The editions from 1864-1987 are uniformly rebound in maroon cloth with gilt dating to spines, whereas the volumes from 2000-2009 all appear in their dust jackets, except 2005.
Another highlight in Graham Budd's auction are the race-worn leathers of Barry Sheene, worn by the Akai Yamaha motorbike racer in 1981.
The back of the leathers are heavily scuffed after a fall in that year's British GP. Bearing Sheene's name and lucky number 7, the lot is estimated at £7,000-9,000.
