Its first private owner was the late Jim Berkheimer, founding president of the Laverda Owners Club.
The machine passed to the current owner in 1975 and is expected to achieve between £35,000 and £40,000.
A rare 250cc Villa V4 will also be attractive to collectors looking to own a machine that will retain its value for years to come.

It is a faithful replica of Francesco Villa's Grand Prix racer of 1969, which was rendered obsolete by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme's rule change limiting the class to a maximum of two cylinders.
Constructed by an ex-Villa employee using many genuine original parts, the motorbike was completed in 2008 and has been tested by Alan Cathcart for Classic Racer magazine. It is valued between £25,000 and £34,000.
The annual sale's complement of Japanese motorcycles is as strong as ever. This year's line-up is headed by an exciting collection of restored Kawasakis, including a £8,000 to £10,000-valued 1969 Kawasaki 498cc H1 and a 1973 Kawasaki 900cc Z1, estimated at £10,000 to £12,000.
Ben Walker, head of motorcycles at Bonhams, comments: "These machines are firmly in keeping with the ethos of the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show as well as reflecting the growing interest and enthusiasm in machines of the 60s and 70s."
