A 1970 Buick GS Stage I is causing excitement ahead of Mecum's Kissimmee classic car auction between January 24 and 29.
The four-speed glacier white beauty, featuring a 455 CI engine and black interior, is among the standout lots at the Florida sale.
Mecum reveals that it is an early production specimen built in October 1969, recently restored yet retaining its original radio and steering wheel.
It has had just two owners during its lifespan, and has received a gold award at the Buick Nationals.
"Few cars approach the level of finish and attention to detail achieved," Mecum states.
No estimate has been provided for the vehicle. But, here at Paul Fraser Collectibles, we expect it to comfortably make six figures.

A convertible version of the 1970 Buick GS Stage I sold for $154,000 at RM Auctions in 2010.
Also on offer at the classic car extravaganza is a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 Convertible. Awarded a Bloomington Gold certificate in 2005, the yellow-finish vehicle is one of just 116 Corvettes produced in 1969 with the L88 engine.
The fact that it retains its original engine is sure to boost its popularity with car collectors, as will its mere 20,000 miles on the clock.
A 1969 Shelby GT350 Convertible is also expected to star. It features its original 351/290 HP engine as well as its three-speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission.
