A painting that hung on the wall of Adolf Hitler's Berghof headquarters in Bavaria is expected to make £6,000-10,000 ($7,777-12,962), Fox News reports.
The work, a painting by Ernst Friedrich showing Krakow's Wawel Castle, was liberated from the compound by a Sergeant Herson Whitley in 1945.

Whitley's daughter explains in a letter accompanying the piece: "He obtained it by taking it off a wall in Hitlers [sic] retreat in Berchtesgaden at the end of the war.
"Note there is a crack along the upper corner which my father said occurred during shipping it home from Europe."
Auctioneer Andrew Aldridge told Fox: "To be offering a piece of World War Two history of this calibre that hung in the residence of Adolf Hitler that was recovered by a decorated war hero with such superb provenance represents a rare opportunity for a collector."
Friedrich was himself a victim of the Nazis.
A pacifist and anarchist, his First International Anti-War Museum in Berlin was shut down by the SS in 1933.
He was arrested, and left for Belgium with his family immediately upon his release, where he joined the resistance movement.
The sale will take place in Devizes, UK on August 20.
Hitler famously tried to become an artist before his rise to power.
His own paintings are regularly traded at auction.
