A 1939 Oscar for black and white cinematography awarded to Gregg Toland for his work on Wuthering Heights (1939) will auction with a starting bid of $125,000 at Nate D Sanders.

Toland is widely regarded as the greatest cameraman in Hollywood history. Despite being nominated on numerous occasions, most notably for his groundbreaking work on Citizen Kane (1941), this was the only Oscar he ever won.
The statuette is one of two produced by the Academy, one of which was presented to Toland and the other to the studio (a practice that was discontinued after 1950).

A cowboy hat worn by John Wayne in six of his best-known films will start at $30,000.
He wore it in The Comancheros (1961), McClintock! (1963), The Sons of Katie Elder (1965), El Dorado (1966), and The Undefeated (1969).
It bears his name in black marker pen on the sweatband and carries exceptional provenance, having been drawn from the collection of Wayne's stunt double Chuck Roberson.
Other lots in the sale include a coat worn by John Lennon that is expected to auction for in excess of $25,000.
