The common consensus when it comes to Marilyn Monroe memorabilia is that 2012 will be the year the already strong market reaches unprecedented levels.
On May 19 it will be the 50th anniversary of the night she sang her saucy rendition of "Happy Birthday" for President John F Kennedy.
More poignantly, August 5 will mark 50 years since her death, at the age of just 36.
