Lovefilm recently asked 1,500 movie goers to name their top Screen Sirens. The list makes for interesting reading for the alternative investor, as if these ladies are popular you can be assured their collectibles will also be doing well, cartoon club singers excepted.
5. Ursula Andress
Honey Ryder's emergence from the sea clutching a selection of shells in Dr No had a profound impact on a generation of teenage boys, and dads.
The bikini Andress wore in the 1962 Bond film sold for £35,000 at Christie's in 2001. It was bought by Planet Hollywood co-founder Robert Earl.
4. Raquel Welch

Welch proved a huge hit in the 1966 film One Million Years BC thanks to her cave woman get-up. But it's the original art for the numerous posters she adorned that is worth the big bucks these days.
Jack Thurston's 34 by 24 inch gouache on board sold for $77,675 at Heritage in 2008.
3. Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe sells. The dress she wore while serenading JFK on his birthday made $1,267,500 at auction in 1999, and more recently an x-ray of her chest taken in 1954 achieved $25,000.
But it's Marilyn's dress from The Seven Year Itch that has us hot-under-the-collar here at Paul Fraser Collectibles. It comes to auction at Profiles in History on June 18 with a $2m estimate…
2. Audrey Hepburn
A controversial sheet of 10 stamps, depicting the Breakfast at Tiffany's star with a cigarette holder in her mouth, sold for €430,000 at Schlegel Briefmarken in Germany in 2009.
Hepburn's son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, campaigns against tobacco addiction and objected to the 2002 printing of the German stamp.
The print run was quickly stopped, making any specimens that do appear at auction extremely rare and highly sought after.
Proceeds from the auction went to Unicef and the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund (AHCF).

Oozing sex appeal while retaining her class, Roger Rabbit's voluptuous wife in the 1988 flick Who Framed Roger Rabbit? caused many movie goers to question themselves.
We're still waiting for a Ms Rabbit dress to turn up at auction but until then we'll have to content ourselves with an artwork by Touchstone Pictures depicting Jessica with Bob Hoskins, which sold for $956 at Christie's in 2003.
