Walter White's inscribed copy of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass has sold at the top of the highly publicised sale of memorabilia from hit TV show Breaking Bad.

The auction saw outstanding bids, having opened on the night that the final episode of the TV show aired. The book, which eventually led to the main character's downfall, sold for $65,500.
The book is inscribed with "To my other favourite WW" and is one of the most recognisable props from the entire series. It is featured in several episodes, and it is through the inscription that DEA agent Hank Schrader discovers that his brother-in-law is a drugs kingpin.
The second highest bids of the sale were seen by Hector "Tio" Salamanca's bell, another iconic prop that featured heavily in the earlier series of the show. It sold for $26,750.
Perhaps the most memorable prop of all, a pink teddy bear, sold for $23,250. One bidder also paid $9,900 for a pair of Walter White's briefs, which are regularly on show.
More of the top bids in the sale came from the vehicles used in the show, with the Cadillac driven by Walter White selling for $19,750.
