Christie's will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe on June 20 in London, offering the drum kit used to record the album.

Definitely Maybe was the band's first album and saw immediate success, becoming the seminal record of the Britpop era. The drumkit, valued at £8,000-12,000, is being consigned by Oasis' original drummer Tony Carroll, who left the band following the album's release in 1995.

"This drum kit was used by me throughout my time with Oasis, from the very beginning during rehearsals at the Boardwalk in Manchester through touring and the recording of 'Definitely Maybe'.
"I have owned the kit ever since and as it is just gathering dust, I have decided to give Oasis fans the opportunity to own it," he explained.
The kit was also used to record Some Might Say, one of the biggest tracks on the 1995 follow-up album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? as well as in several Oasis music videos and TV appearances.
Also featuring is a 1996 BRIT award presented to Oasis for their second album, which is estimated at £4,000-6,000.
The 1996 ceremony was one of the main events of the Britpop calendar, with Oasis' Liam and Noel Gallagher performing a cheeky parody of their rival Blur's Parklife.
