Amelia Earhart signed cover could make $6,000 on February 12

A cover flown and signed by Amelia Earhart in 1935 is estimated to auction for $4,000-6,000 at Daniel F Kelleher's February 12 sale in Connecticut.

Earhart flew the cover from Los Angeles to Mexico, from Mexico to Newark and then on to New York. It features a franked 40 cent airmail stamp along with various datestamps.

The cover is among a handful of examples that were flown and signed by Amelia Earhart

It is one of a handful of covers that Earhart carried with her on her solo flights.

We have this piece of the Spirit of St Louis for sale, which has been signed by Charles Lindbergh.
