Rhodesia error block
The stamps were issued in Northern Rhodesia just prior to independence

The issue was created following the dissolution of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland in December 1963, but was withdrawn a few months later after Zambia declared independence in 1964.

It's described by the auction house as "a unique and exceptional multiple of exhibition standard."

We have this rare strip of Rhodesian 1966 one-shilling error stamps available.

A 1938-1954 Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika (KUT) 20c black and orange vertical imperforate pair are expected to make £18,000-22,000 ($28,581-34,932).

KUT stamps bear the name of each of the three colonies they were issued in. They continued to circulate until 1977, when they were replaced by local designs.

The present lot is an extremely rare, fresh and unmounted mint.

A Cayman Islands 1907 surcharge 1d on 5/, one of around eight mint examples, is valued at £15,000-18,000 ($23,817-28,581).
