On September 28, 2013, Monaco will welcome the fifth edition of the Only Watch charity auction, starring 33 unique timepieces.

The sale aims to raise funds for the Monegasque Assocation against Muscular Dystrophy, financing research to combat the disease. It will be held as part of the Monaco Yacht Show in association with specialist auctioneer Antiquorum.
Many of the watches on offer reflect the event's renowned location, such as the Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Arpels Une Journee a Monaco, where the turquoise dial offers a panoramic view of Monaco while a mother and daughter take a stroll in the principality.

All of the top brands are represented, with auction leader Patek Philippe offering its unique Referece 5004T. Based on one of the great classics of the brand's Grand Complications collection, this is the only example of Reference 5004T ever made in titanium.
Breguet has put forward a typically majestic piece, the Classique Chronograph openworked 5284. It boasts the calibre CH 27 undecorated movement designed by Albert Piguet in the 1940s, housed in an 18k yellow gold case sporting fine fluting on the caseband, similar to Breguet's first timepieces.
Also starring is the Midnight Big Date, a spectacular 18k rose gold from the Harry Winston Fifth Avenue salon in New York. It features a circular grained and hand-chamfered rose gold skeletonised rotor, which is visible through a sapphire-crystal display back.
All of the watches will be part of a world tour that begins on September 6.
At the 2011 event, which raised $5.9m, a Patek Philippe reference 3939 led with a $1.9m sale price.
