John Lennon's psychedelic Rolls Royce is once again on display at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria, Canada after spending a number of years in storage.

Lennon Rolls Royce
The 1965 Rolls-Royce Phantom V was painted by Dutch art collective the Fool

The 1965 Phantom V was delivered to Lennon new. In 1967 he employed Dutch art collective the Fool to hand paint it in wild colours.

Up until recently it was the world's most valuable piece of Beatles memorabilia, having sold for $2.3m in 1985.

It was edged out following the sale of a guitar, which Lennon used to write some of the band's earliest songs, for $2.4m last year.
